In Nevada there are many beautiful lakes, Long Canyon Reservoir is one of them. The Triguero Trail is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Long Canyon Reservoir, and Long Canyon Reservoir is right next door to Hole in the Ground which is definitely worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is tremendous here at Long Canyon Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Diamond Trail, and there are plenty of people from Elko here.

Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Jarbidge, and nearby you locate the Gold Creek Trail
which is a tremendous hiking trail. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Long Canyon Reservoir, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 30's. Daytime highs
through the winter are in the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Long Canyon Reservoir temperatures descend to the 0's. It is very dried out here at Long Canyon Reservoir mostly; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and July is the month with the least moisture.
