Do stop by Johnson Lake while you're in this part of Nevada. It is very dry here at Johnson Lake usually; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is January. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Snake Range rocks! Dry warm beds await you at PROSPECTOR HOTEL AND CASINO. The Snake Range scenery is always beautiful.
Johnson Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Shoshone Campground is a wonderful local campground;

| | Great Basin National Park is one of the destinations that are wonderful to explore close by. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Bristlecone Pine Glacier Trail. Lakes are delightful; Baker Lake is a lake that's next to Johnson Lake. Going for a hike on the Baker Shoshone Trail is always a tremendous adventure; needless to say North Fork Baker Creek flows through this area.

hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Johnson Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining
things the area next to Johnson Lake has to offer. This is a wonderful vicinity for people who like lakes. Treasure Lake is a lake nearby, and camping at Wheeler Peak Campground is always a great experience. Now, you may feel that's
lots but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Snake Range. Don't leave Johnson Lake without first going for a hike along the Highland Ridge Trail, and a good view of picturesque Baker Peak is available.
