A tremendous view of charming McAfee Peak is available from Jeannette Lake, and a good spot to camp here at Jeannette Lake is Northfork Campgrounds. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Independence Mountains. If you need a location to stay Econo Lodge & Suites is a great choice; camping is available at Jack Creek       Campground. Jeannette Lake is ordinarily a relatively dehydrated spot; November is when you get the most rain here, and August is the month with the least moisture. Summertime highs at Jeannette Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's.
