Hunter Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Hunter Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. At Hunter Lake throughout the warm months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's while Hunter Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. | | need a place to stay Club Lakeridge is a great choice, and Truckee River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Hunter Lake. The Mount Rose Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Hunter Lake, and good skiing awaits you at Diamond Peak. You'll locate a wonderful lake called Hunter Creek Reservoir near Hunter Lake, and whitewater paddling is nice on Truckee River. | |

Hunter Lake is typically a quite dry spot; all through January this area sees the most rain while August is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Mount Rose Campground is a great local campground, and playing golf
is lots of fun at Washoe County Golf Course. A magnificent close by hotel is Desert Rose Inn; Gold Ranch RV Resort is a wonderful campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby
Mt. Rose, and at Hunter Lake you always meet someone from Reno-Sparks. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. If the weather is brilliant here at Hunter Lake, you can go for a hike along the Mount Rose Trail; if you're here, you could also stop by picturesque Fuller Lake.
