Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. It's a perfect idea to take a look at Alum Creek, it's right next door to Hunter Creek Reservoir; why not camp at Chism Trailer Park while you're here at Hunter Creek Reservoir. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Don't leave Hunter Creek Reservoir without first checking out Chalk Bluff; West Wash Reservoir is       a nearby lake that you could stop by. A good nearby hotel is Desert Rose Inn; if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Truckee River. The snow is pleasant at Diamond Peak, and if you came for an overnight stay Keystone RV Park is a good location to camp. So many entertaining things in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just impressive. A tour to Lawtons Hot Springs will fill your spirit with pleasant feelings;                  in the neighborhood of Hunter Creek Reservoir you hit upon a golf course called Northgate Golf Club-Reservations. During the days of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Hunter Creek Reservoir, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Hunter Creek Reservoir temperatures sink to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
