The beauty of Highland Reservoir attracts many people from all around. Any time is a good time at Highland Reservoir if you go for the outdoors. Some of the water nearby flows, like Peavine Creek; if you're here you can play some golf at Rosewood Lakes Golf Course. It is very dried up here at Highland Reservoir mostly; during January this area sees the most rain while August is mostly the driest month. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the

| | Northern Sierra Nevada. A day on the slopes of Diamond Peak is just what you need, and Super 8 Motel - Reno is a wonderful site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm locations, why not explore West Wash Reservoir close to Highland Reservoir, and a brilliant site nearby is Norton Canyon. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Sierra Nevada. Highland Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Keystone RV Park is a tremendous local campground, and the skiing at Mt. Rose is good. This lake is
so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Truckee River close to Highland Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at Desert Rose Inn. Manzanita Lake is a pleasant lake in the vicinity of Highland Reservoir, and why not take a refreshing
hike along the Mount Rose Trail. Highland Reservoir Dam is worth checking out since you're here, and you'll meet a lot of people from Reno-Sparks here. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Highland Reservoir. A great
spot to camp here at Highland Reservoir is Chism Trailer Park, and the Mount Rose Trail offers hiking at its best.
