This lake is located in the wonderful Northern
Sierra Nevada. There is a magnificent hiking trail close to Gray Lake called the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14, and Relay Peak is painless to spot from Gray Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Near Gray Lake you come across a golf
course called Old Brockway Golf Course, and the Mount Rose Trail is a magnificent hiking trail nearby.
Around Gray Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; most of the snow falls during January; July on the other hand is the driest.
Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. There's so much to do here at Gray Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sandy Beach Campground is a splendid site for that, and dry warm beds await you at Hyatt High Sierra
Lodge. And that's not all you can do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Here at Gray Lake there are plenty of people from Carson City, and Burnt Cedar Beach is a beach close by that you can take a look at.

...ya its cool...first time i went there...i had a blast...i guarantee i am coming back ti snowboard...AAA++++...Man, this place is tiny. I like it that way, it's very cozy and inspiring....Boreal is a great little ski area, plenty of fun runs and good snow. It's a lot smaller than most ski areas around here which is of course both good and bad. But for a resort of this size it's perfect.... |
