Not far from Franklin Lake, you'll come across Ruby Lake Unit Ten which is a wonderful lake, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Smith Creek Trail. Franklin Lake is pretty arid usually; throughout November this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. At Franklin Lake throughout the summer months highs are in the 90's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, typically in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's, and night lows through the winter for Franklin Lake tend to be in the 10's. | |
