A short visit to Lower Ash Spring is always worthwhile; dry warm beds await you at Falcon Ridge Hotel. Not far from Eccles Reservoir, you'll hit upon Lone Pine Reservoir which is a lovely lake. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Minto Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Eccles Reservoir that you need to camp       here for a while, Cabin Pines Campground is a delightful place for that. You get a wonderful view of Tepee Rocks from Eccles Reservoir, and if you came to camp Cathedral Gorge State Park is a glorious place to do that. High temperatures at Eccles Reservoir throughout the months of summer are in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Eccles Reservoir.
