This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. East Wash Reservoir is a splendid place to camp, Bonanza Terrace RV Park is a splendid place, and there are plenty of folks from Reno-Sparks here. Good hiking is available along the Mount Rose Trail. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at East Wash Reservoir. Get       your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Truckee River. You'll need more than a day to explore everything East Wash Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Keystone RV Park. East Wash Reservoir gets very little precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is August. You're in all probability addicted to lakes, Highland Reservoir is one of those nearby, and since you're here, you might as well check out Norton Canyon.                  Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
