The beauty of Dry Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bucks Canyon Trail, and Mill Canyon is another great place to go to close by. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Dry Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Take a hike on the Mount Jefferson Trail, and Dry Lake is not the only place close by, Johnson Hole is a close by lake. You could also take a look at Clear Lake since you're here at Dry Lake; it's close by. There's some flowing water nearby, Wadsworth Creek is a stream you can take a look at while you're here, and a spree to Box Spring will fill your soul with nice feelings.
