This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you get bored
of Dry Lake, you could also go to close by Lobdell Lake; whitewater paddling is great on West Walker River. Dry Lake is in the neighborhood of Little Smith Valley which is definitely worth visiting, and here at Dry Lake you can see
Black Mountain. Not much precipitation falls here at Dry Lake; January is the month that gets the most snow while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Meadowcliff Lodge & RV Resort

The new bathhouse was built for use by RV’ers. There are four private baths each with its own shower, sink and toilet. There is also a laundry room with coin-operated washers and dryers and for the RV groups that want a place to have a pot-luck or to play cards, there is even a clubhouse.
RV’ers also have full access to the other amenities of the Resort, such as, swimming pool, horseshoes, swings, walking paths and more.
Of course, the surrounding area allows for a number of outdoor activities such as, fishing, boating , skiing, ATV riding, hiking, snowmobiling, bird watching and so much more!
The Meadowcliff Restaurant is located on the property and is open daily from 6 AM 2 PM serving great breakfasts and lunches. Starting the end of April, dinners will be served until at least 8 PM on Friday and Saturdays and more evenings as demand dictates.
The Meadowcliff Lodge, Restaurant and RV Resort is open year round.

My family and I have been going to Doc and Al's for the past 18 years and love it! You'll find stories like this of families coming back the same week every year for decades is not uncommon here. It's a great place for young and old, couples and families. If you're looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, this is definitely the place! I grew up with vacations along Robinson Creek and on the shores of Twin Lakes, and I plan on taking my kids someday. If you're considering a trip up here, I definitely recommend it!... |
