There are other spots here than Dorsey Reservoir, for example Eight Mile Creek Reservoir, and there are glorious locations to look at along the Elko Hamilton Stage Route. If only every location had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great world it would be. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Valley View RV Park is a good spot to camp;       if you need a place to stay Hilton Garden Inn Elko is a magnificent choice. Why not camp at Elko Koa Kampground since you're here at Dorsey Reservoir, and Oak Tree Inn Elko is a great location to get some rest. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Dorsey Reservoir. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's.
