Do stop by Divide Reservoir while you're in this part of Nevada. You just must have a thing about Divide Reservoir. Mt. Rose has great slopes and a friendly staff, and Divide Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Dayton State Park is a great local campground. Divide Reservoir is pretty waterless regularly; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Gold

Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Truckee River, and American Flat is a perfect place to check out. if you came to camp Virginia City RV Park is a wonderful place to do that. Through the summer at Divide Reservoir temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime
are usually in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Divide Reservoir. Diamond Peak is a very popular ski area close by. A short journey to Caldwell Spring is always worthwhile; a pleasant location to pop by nearby
is Bullion Ravine. This lake is so wonderful. The nice folks of Carson City like to hang out nearby, and from Divide Reservoir you obtain a pleasant panorama of Basalt Mesa.
