Throughout the summer highs here at Dewar Reservoir get into the 90's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's while Dewar Reservoir nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. From Dewar Reservoir you obtain a great panorama of Elko Hills; why not camp at Double Dice RV Park since you're here at Dewar Reservoir. After       a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Elko, Nv is a fine site to spend a night or two, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Ruby View Golf Course is close by. This is a popular place for folks from Elko. Dewar Reservoir sits in the shade of the Elko Hills, and Burner Basin is a tremendous spot to check out. It is very waterless here at Dewar Reservoir commonly; November is the wettest month with most rain; July is the month                  with the least moisture. A tour to Dewar Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Burner Basin Spring, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Dewar Reservoir; Elko Hamilton Stage Route is a good local trail.
