Coyote Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Coyote Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Bluster National Forest Campground is a pleasant local campground, and a short visit to Lostra Spring is always worthwhile. Coyote Lake is a spot with many visitors from Elko. Summertime at Coyote Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 30's. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Jarbidge River - West Fork, and hey, East Fork Willow Creek is a pleasant local stream. At Coyote Lake you don’t see much precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
