Take a hike on the Gold Creek Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Coyote Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bluster National Forest Campground. At Coyote Lake you always meet someone from Elko; while you're here, you could also take a look at delightful Charleston Reservoir. It is very arid here at Coyote Lake generally; of all the months in a year May is the one with the       most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Stay the night at Pine Creek National Forest Campground, and you'll hit upon a pretty lake called Little Reservoir. High temperatures at Coyote Lake through the summertime are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Coyote Lake. Man, is there heaps of entertaining things to do in close proximity                  to Coyote Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Jarbidge River - West Fork.
