Why not camp at Mountain City Motel while you're here at Brady Reservoir, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Brady Reservoir; Damon Trail is a nice local trail. If you get bored of Brady Reservoir, you could also stop at close by Manning Reservoir; Brady Reservoir is not the only place nearby, McNeilly Reservoir is a nearby lake. For the duration of the summer months at Brady Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
