The warmest time of the year at Boyd Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Boyd Reservoir drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little tour to Boyd Reservoir Dam since you're here at Boyd Reservoir;       a lake nearby is Sandhill Reservoir. If you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Spring Creek Golf Course, and Boyd Reservoir is a place with many visitors from Elko. If you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge & Suites is a perfect choice; hiking is a popular thing to do around Boyd Reservoir; Elko Hamilton Stage Route is a delightful local trail. Boyd Reservoir is pretty dehydrated usually; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain                  while July is generally the driest month. Why not camp at Hidden Valley Guest and RV Resort since you're here at Boyd Reservoir. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Camping at Boyd Reservoir is glorious fun, Ryndon Campground is a glorious local campground, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Elko, Nv is a magnificent place to get some rest.
