Don't leave Boyd Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Smith       Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful close by hotel is Econo Lodge & Suites, also Boyd Reservoir Dam is worth visiting if you're here. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Elko, Nv is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and Boyd Reservoir is not the only place close by, Dry Lake is a close by lake. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Boyd Reservoir.
