Blue Lake is a lake worth visiting. There is a good hiking trail near Blue Lake called the Bristlecone Pine Glacier Trail, and PROSPECTOR HOTEL AND CASINO is a delightful site to get some rest. At Blue Lake you don’t see much rain; most of the rain falls during March, and January is the month with the least moisture. At Blue Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 80's. | | are in the 40's while Blue Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's.
But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Snake Range. A pleasant sight of picturesque Bald Mountain is available from Blue Lake, and you'll locate a wonderful lake called Brown Lake. Basin National Park is pretty close to Blue Lake, and Lehman Creek Campground and Trailhead is a perfect local campground.
Near Blue Lake you discover the Baker Shoshone Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail; why not camp at
Wheeler Peak Campground if you're here at Blue Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Highland Ridge Trail is always a nice adventure, and if you're here, you could also have a look at lovely Teresa Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Snake Range.
