This lake is one of the great places here in the Independence Mountains. Man, is there a load of fun things to do in the Independence Mountains. Camping at Wild Horse Crossing Campground is always a magnificent experience, and going for a hike on the Damon Trail is always a pleasant adventure.       This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Bahm Basa Pond through the long summer days are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's while Bahm Basa Pond overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
