Adams-McGill Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. A quick spree to Hot Creek near Adams-McGill Reservoir is a tremendous idea, also Adams-McGill Reservoir Dam is worth stopping at while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime at Adams-McGill Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 90's; the overnight is quite colder of course, generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures

Hot Creek Campground is a great campground here; not far from Adams-McGill Reservoir you'll hit upon Dacey Reservoir which is a charming lake. At Adams-McGill Reservoir you don’t see much rain; through August this area sees the most rain while June is ordinarily the driest month. | |
