Laguna Yeso is one of the lakes here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Summertime at Laguna Yeso arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while Laguna Yeso nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sangre De       Cristo Mountains. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Santa Fe Trail, and Fort Union National Monument is one of the destinations that are nice to take a look at close by. Aguaje Canyon is a pleasant place to pop by close by. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Laguna Yeso has to offer, you can camp at Cimarron Inn and RV Park. Laguna Yeso is frequently a pretty dried up spot; July is the month that gets the most rain while January is                  usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
