A splendid nearby hotel is Executive Suites and Hotel; you'll locate a stunning lake called Lower Tonsill Lake. That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; Willow lake has it all. A round of golf at nearby Carlsbad City Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some
time, and Tansill Dam is a beautiful spot.

MORE STUFF NEARBY:

Lake Avalon
This lake is a agriculture watershead and is drained down on a regular basis during the growing season. Even when it is full, it is no more than 4-5 feet deep at any given point in the lake. No decent fishing can be found here....

Lake McMillan
12 miles away
If you wish to access this lake you will need a vehicle with a high ground clearance as it is all dirt road to get to it and impossible to get to after a heavy rain. Not worth the effort, the fish are not edible due to DDT contamination....
