New Mexico has many beautiful lakes and Williams Lake is one of them. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. There is a great hiking trail near Williams Lake called the Twining Blue Lake Trail, and not far from Williams Lake you'll stumble on Horseshoe Lake which is a picturesque lake. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs commonly are in the 80's at Williams Lake while overnight lows are usually in the 40's.

3 Lift Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Taos is just what you need, and Sagebrush Inn is a tremendous site to get some rest. Williams Lake in fact is in the middle of a gorgeous
outdoors paradise. Going for a hike on the Lost Lake Trail is always a fine adventure. There's so much to do here at Williams Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Twining Campground is a perfect spot for that. Williams Lake
gets very little rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in the vicinity of Williams
Lake has to offer. Soar down the rapids of Red River in a kayak. If you need a spot to stay Best Western River's Edge is a nice choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Rio Grande offers some perfect whitewater. If you would
like a little side spree, try Martinez Canyon; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Bear Lake.
