    If you are in Sandoval county it's always a good idea to stop by Williams Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Nacimiento Campground is a wonderful campground nearby; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the San Jose Trail. What a place this is for outdoors people. Lakes are brilliant; Laguna Colorada is a lake that's in the vicinity of Williams Lake, and the San Pedro Mountain Trail is a pleasant hiking  
   trail close by.
At Williams Lake during the summer months highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Williams Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. A journey to San Jose Spring will fill your soul with
 
               magnificent feelings; after a long day outdoors The Abiquiu Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. A spree to Mahan Canyon is always fun, and you can stay the night at Clear Creek Campground.
Having a pleasant time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains is painless. Hatch Reservoir Dam is a place that is next to Williams Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You're in all probability keen on lakes, Hatch Lake is one of those nearby; going for a hike along the River Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. At Williams Lake you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls through August while June is frequently the driest month.
