Whitetail Lake is always a pleasure to visit. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Sacramento Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Here at Whitetail Lake there are plenty of folks from Alamogordo. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff close to Whitetail Lake will keep you coming back time and again. Camping at Cherokee Mobile Village is always a brilliant experience, and the Dry Mills Trail offers hiking at its best. During the summer highs here

| | at Whitetail Lake reach the 90's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Whitetail Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
