You can never get enough of the great skiing at Sandia Peak; a trip to Petroglyph National Monument is recommended. This lake is so wonderful. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at West Mesa Reservoir. University of New Mexico Golf Course is a great golf course nearby, and do explore Gonzales Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake. It is very arid here at West Mesa Reservoir typically; August is when you get the most rain here while November is regularly the driest month.
