Waterbird Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. This place is so good, just check out all the enjoyable things to do right next door to Waterbird Lake. If you need a place to stay Sagebrush Inn is a pleasant choice; everybody nearby loves skiing at Red River. For the duration of the long summer days, highs usually are in the 80's at Waterbird Lake. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are

| | usually in the 30's; nighttime lows during the winter for Waterbird Lake tend to be in the 0's. This is a good area for people who like lakes. Star Lake is a lake nearby, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Burnt Ridge Trail. You're perhaps interested in lakes, Water Bird Lake is one of those nearby, and at Waterbird Lake you can catch a glimpse of Larkspur Peak. This lake is so wonderful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Eagle Nest; there are delightful places to look at along the Twining Blue Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a
hike on the Lost Lake Trail is always a delightful adventure, and camping is available at Twining Campground. Waterbird Lake gets very little rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month
is February. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. The slopes of Angel Fire are so inviting noone can resist, and if you came for an overnight stay Italianos Campground is a great place to camp.
