High temperatures at Underwood Lakes all through the months of summer are in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 40's. Underwood Lakes is a good location to visit for more than one day, Monument Lake Resort is a good location to camp nearby, and wonderful scenery       and great skiing is what you acquire at Ski Rio. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Red River since you're here, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Bernal Trail. Just can't get enough of Underwood Lakes. Underwood Lakes is frequently a rather dehydrated place; the month with most of the rain is August; January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Eagle Nest is                  a glorious place to spend a night or two, and McCrystal Creek Campground is a glorious local campground.
