Do stop by Twomile Reservoir while you're in this part of New Mexico. Golf can be played at Santa Fe Country Club, and going for a hike on the Atalaya Trail is always a splendid adventure. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Twomile Reservoir. After a long day outdoors Bishop's Lodge is a pleasant location to spend a night or two; do take a look at Two Mile Reservoir Dam if you're here. This lake is so wonderful.

For the period of the long summer days at Twomile Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; after the sun
is down during the wintertime temperatures at Twomile Reservoir plunge into the 10's. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Aztec Spring; Canada Ancha is another magnificent spot to take a look at nearby. There's so much
to do here at Twomile Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Tesuque Pueblo RV Campground is a nice spot for that, and the skiing at Ski Santa Fe is tremendous.
Twomile Reservoir is regularly a rather dry location;
the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you
then we recommend Rio Santa Cruz; close by you hit upon the Saint Johns Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Aztec Springs Creek is a stream that you may bump into while you're here, and if you haven’t been to Bandelier National Monument, you must schedule some time for it while you're here.
