Twin Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. You clearly ought to like the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Do have a look at Costilla Reservoir next to Twin Lakes, it's a delightful lake, and a scenic lake like Lost Lake is a perfect spot       to stop at. And that's not all you can do here at Twin Lakes. Red River has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Eagle Nest is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby Cherokee Canyon is a delightful location to go if you're at Twin Lakes, and if you came to camp Mallette Campground is a glorious location to do that. Best Western River's Edge is a magnificent spot to get                  some rest. There's so much to do here at Twin Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, McCrystal Creek Campground is a tremendous place for that. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Twin Lakes get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Twin Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Ski Rio is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Lost Lake Trail.
