There's great hiking along the Ussery Trail; Bogle Flats is a wonderful location to stretch your legs a bit. Throughout the summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Tule Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Tule Lake drop into the 30's. Hiking is a popular       thing to do around Tule Lake; Golden Stairway Trail is a magnificent local trail; Tule Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Queen Store Cafe and RV Park is a fine local campground. If you need a place to stay Whites City Resort is a nice choice. Around Tule Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; September is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is March.
