Trout Lakes is one of the lakes here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains for a good time. Trout Lakes Campground is a great local campground; the sight of Red Hill is beautiful. Through the days of summer highs here at Trout Lakes reach the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through       the winter temperatures at Trout Lakes sink into the 0's. While you're here at Trout Lakes, you could also take a look at pretty Hidden Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Rio de los Brazos. This lake is so wonderful. Burns Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore; there are some delightful whitewater spots on Rio Brazos. Lower Canjilon Lakes Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and if you                  need a location to stay The Abiquiu Inn is a good choice. At Trout Lakes you don’t see much precipitation; through August this area sees the most rain while May is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
