Trampas Lakes is always a pleasure to visit. Trampas Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Rio Santa Cruz; dry warm beds await you at Mora Inn & Rv Park. That right there is plenty of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Sangre De Cristo Mountains has it all. If you come at the right time of year, Rio Embudo offers some perfect

| | whitewater, and Tres. Ritos Lodge is a splendid location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Trampas Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Trampas Medio Campground is a great spot for that; great skiing awaits you at Ski Santa Fe. Take a hike on the Santa Barbara Angostura Trail; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Rio Quemado Falls. This place, Trampas Lakes, it absolutely has so much outdoors entertaining | |

stuff. A lake close by is Hidden Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Trampas Lakes; Trampas Trail is a pleasant local trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Rio Medio Trail, and the top of Jicarilla Peak is easily
made out from Trampas Lakes. All through the warmest time of the year here at Trampas Lakes, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this
place gets highs in the 30's; night lows at Trampas Lakes through the winter commonly fall into the 0's. Be careful coming to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. You'll need more than
a day to look at everything Trampas Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Trampas Trailhead Campground, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Sipapu Ski. At Trampas Lakes you don’t see much precipitation; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture.
