This lake is located in the wonderful Sacramento Mountains. If the weather is delightful here at Sweethart Windmill, you can go for a hike along the Whiskey Trail; a glorious place to camp here at Sweethart Windmill is Rocky Mountain RV Park. Sweethart       Windmill is a location that is relatively arid mostly; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The warmest time of the year at Sweethart Windmill comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's with temperatures at Sweethart Windmill dipping down into the 20's during                  winter nights. Sweethart Windmill is not the only place close by, Pothole Lake is a close by lake; nearby you discover Lone Pine Canyon which is a wonderful location to stop by. That right there is a load of amusing things already but it goes on, the Sacramento Mountains has it all. The Padilla Trail is a nice hiking trail near Sweethart Windmill; if you need a place to stay Ruidoso Downs-Days Inn is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful.
