Storrie Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Fort Union National Monument is a magnificent spot in close proximity to Storrie Lake, and Storrie Lake is a place with many visitors from Las Vegas. Storrie Lake is pretty dried out usually; most of the rain falls during July while January is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like New Mexico Highlands University Golf
