This lake is so wonderful. Fort Union National Monument is a magnificent spot in close proximity to Storrie Lake, and Storrie Lake is a place with many visitors from Las Vegas. Storrie Lake is pretty dried out usually; most of the rain falls during July while January is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like New Mexico Highlands University Golf       Course, and if you're here, you could also explore beautiful Harris Lake. After a long day outdoors Las Vegas Super 8 Motel is a great place to spend a night or two; a splendid site for whitewater paddling is Pecos River. Storrie Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the area near Storrie Lake has to offer.
