This lake is so wonderful. Storie Lake gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Storie Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the       10's overnight here at Storie Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Canon del Agua is a magnificent spot to visit close by; do take a look at Canada de Cerro Colorado while you're here at Storie Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is New Mexico Highlands University Golf Course, and there's whitewater on Pecos River for all you adrenaline kick people. Looking for a fine spree?                  Fort Union National Monument is pretty near Storie Lake; if you need a site to stay Las Vegas-Days Inn is a tremendous choice. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great globe it would be. Why not camp at Las Vegas Koa Kampground if you're here at Storie Lake; you'll meet a lot of folks from Las Vegas here. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, too tremendous to be true. Camping is available at Vegas RV and Storage, and dry warm beds await you at Las Vegas Super 8 Motel. All year is a pleasant time in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains if you like the outdoors.
