     Float down the rapids of Rio Chama in a kayak; a perfect close by hotel is Branding Iron Motel. Stone Lake Dike Number Two is not far at all from Stone Lake, and a pretty lake like Enbom Lake is a great place to have a look at. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great earth it would be. If you come at the right time of year, Navajo River offers some great whitewater.
This lake is so wonderful. There are tremendous sites to
 
   look at along the Hart Trail; close by you come across Pump House Canyon which is a fine spot to stop by. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. These mountains rock, just check out all the cool things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. If you need a place to stay Best Western Jicarilla Inn & Casino is a glorious choice, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not explore Cinnamon Lake.
During the summer months here
 
               at Stone Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's; the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Stone Lake. Not much rain falls here at Stone Lake; the month with most of the rain is August, and June is when it's the driest.
