    Stewart Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. A glorious nearby hotel is Encantado An Auberge Resort; soar down the rapids of Rio Santa Cruz in a kayak. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is plentiful here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Stewart Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cowles Campground; if  
   you haven’t been to Santa Fe National Historic Trail, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here. While you're here at Stewart Lake, you could also stop by pretty Lake Johnson; there's pleasant hiking along the Rio Capulin Trail.
The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Stewart Lake is not far at all from Santa Fe. Stewart Lake is a location that is pretty dried up ordinarily; the month of August is
 
               the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
Throughout the days of summer highs here at Stewart Lake get into the 90's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Stewart Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Do have a look at Spirit Lake near Stewart Lake, it's a wonderful lake; Ski Santa Fe is a fine local ski area. So many entertaining things to do at Stewart Lake, so little time. Stewart Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Panchuela Campground is a great spot to camp nearby, and the Winsor Trail offers hiking at its best.
If you need a site to stay Bishop's Lodge is a nice choice, and Stewart Lake is right by the Agua Sarca Trail.
