    If you like lakes and you're in this part of New Mexico you can check out Stewart Lake. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more cool things to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. If the weather is magnificent here at Stewart Lake, you can go for a hike along the Winsor Trail, and dropping by Santa Fe National Historic Trail is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. You  
   imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Encantado An Auberge Resort is a good site to get some rest; you can stay the night at Panchuela Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. The cheerful folks of Santa Fe like to hang out close by. There's so much to do here at Stewart Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cowles Campground is a glorious location for that. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more exciting things to do in the Sangre
 
               De Cristo Mountains. Lake Johnson is a nearby lake that you could visit, and paddling on Rio Santa Cruz is so much fun. Do stop at Spirit Lake close to Stewart Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and if you need a location to stay Bishop's Lodge is a fine choice.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Rio Capulin Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Not much precipitation falls here at Stewart Lake; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is regularly the driest month. On a brilliant day at Stewart Lake you can take a hike along the Agua Sarca Trail; Ski Santa Fe is a very popular ski area close by.
All through the long summer days at Stewart Lake highs are regularly in the 90's, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Stewart Lake.
