If you are in this part of New Mexico make sure to pay a visit to South Latir Lake. The top of Baldy Mountain is easily seen from South Latir Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around South Latir Lake; Lost Lake Trail is a wonderful local trail. into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at South Latir Lake temperatures dip
to the 0's. Yeah, come here to South Latir Lake for a splendid time. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Ski Rio; Cabresto Lake Campground is a pleasant campground nearby.
