Through the long summer days at South Cisneros highs are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at South Cisneros. You can run the rapids of San Antonio River near South Cisneros. Lakes are great; Lucero Lakes is a lake that's near South Cisneros. Just can't get       enough of the San Juan Mountains. There's so much to do here at South Cisneros that you need to camp here for a while, Hopewell Lake Campground is a delightful spot for that; Rio de los Pinos is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. Barela Spring is a lovely place to take a look at while you're at South Cisneros, and this is a popular site for folks from Espanola. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan Mountains. This is no site for people                  who don’t like to enjoy themselves. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp El Ritito Campground is a good site to do that, and the view of gorgeous Lamy Peak is wonderful.
