  A delightful nearby hotel is Narrow Gauge RR Inn, and South Cisneros is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Laguna Larga is a tremendous local campground. Rinker Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. South Cisneros is a beautiful lake in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. A tour to South Cisneros wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Barela Spring. Camping at Hopewell Lake Campground is always a pleasant
    experience, and Lamy Peak can be observed from South Cisneros.
All year is a tremendous time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains if you like the outdoors.
