Through the warmest time of the year at Skid Camp Pond highs are usually in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. You're perhaps addicted to lakes, John Mills Lake is one of those close by; if you need a location to stay Best Western Jicarilla Inn & Casino is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Navajo River is so much fun, and Keyah Grande Resort is a good place to get some rest. Skid Camp Pond is pretty dried up generally; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is June. | |
