Laguna Simon is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. It is very dried out here at Laguna Simon ordinarily; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and June is when it's the driest. Through the warm months here at Laguna Simon, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 30's with winter lows       in the 0's overnight here at Laguna Simon. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the San Jose Trail. Nearby Pasture Canyon is a wonderful site to go if you're at Laguna Simon; do take a hike on the San Pedro Mountain Trail. And that's not all the things to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
