New Mexico has many beautiful lakes and Simms Reservoir is one of them. At Simms Reservoir all through the summer highs are in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Simms Reservoir night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Nearby lakes? Sure, Gutierrez Reservoir is near Simms Reservoir, and Sandia Peak is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood.

you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Albuquerque. Simms Reservoir gets very little rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; November on the other hand is the driest.

already, but it keeps on going; Simms Reservoir has it all. A tremendous close by hotel is Bridgestreet The Enclave, and if you've had enough of Simms Reservoir, Gonzales Reservoir is nearby. And that's not all you can do here at
Simms Reservoir. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Simms Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Albuquerque Central KOA; a short tour to Oso Spring is always worthwhile.

if you're here; the vistas at Petroglyph National Monument will blow your mind. This lake is so wonderful. Econo Lodge Albuquerque is a nice place to get some rest; the Embudo Trail offers hiking at its best.
