Simms Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Not far from Simms Reservoir you get some wonderful water scenery at Juan Tabo Detention Dam, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Embudo Trail. Enjoy a round of golf at Los Altos Golf Course not far from Simms Reservoir, and Embudito Canyon is a great place to have a look at. Summertime highs at Simms Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools

| | down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Simms Reservoir temperatures descend to the 20's. Simms Reservoir is a location that is reasonably dried up commonly; most of the rain falls through August, and November is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Gutierrez Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at; Econo Lodge Albuquerque is a perfect place to get some rest. | |

to stay Bridgestreet The Enclave is a perfect choice, and K O A Kampgrounds is a pleasant campground nearby. Gotta ski! Sandia Peak is a perfect place to do that, and going for a hike along the Pino Trail will let you absorb the natural
beauty of this neighborhood. Visiting Petroglyph National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and hiking along the Embudito Trail is magnificent fun. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Albuquerque
come to Simms Reservoir, and Oso Spring is a good local attraction. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Simms Reservoir.
