Shockley Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sacramento Mountains. From a rain point of view Shockley Lake is a reasonably typical place; most of the rain falls throughout August while April is regularly the driest month. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Sacramento Mountains is excellent! While you're here at Shockley Lake, you could also stop at scenic Chimney Lake. At Shockley Lake all through the long       summer days highs are in the 70's; the overnight is a tad cooler of course, regularly in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Shockley Lake.
