Econo Lodge Eagle Nest is a good location to get some rest, as expected you could also pop by Graham Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Have       a delightful hiking adventure along the Santa Fe Trail. There's so much to do here at Sheaffer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cimarron Inn and RV Park is a delightful site for that. Through the summer at Sheaffer Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's while Sheaffer Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.                  It is very arid here at Sheaffer Lake commonly; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. A good nearby hotel is Angel Fire Resort; Fort Union National Monument is a nice national park. Just can't get enough of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. You might want to pay a visit to Mares Canyon while you're here at Sheaffer Lake. This site is great, just check out all the cool stuff to do in the neighborhood of Sheaffer Lake.
