Seven Lakes is a nice lake to visit. Seven Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. That right there is plenty of cool things already but it goes on, the Sangre De Cristo Mountains has it all. Skiing at Red River is one of those things you just should do. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Seven Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Mallette Campground. You might want to pay a visit to Cherokee Canyon while you're here

Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Seven Lakes, and the night is fairly cooler of course, generally in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while Seven Lakes overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. De Cristo Mountains. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are really abundant here at Seven Lakes. Looking for some flowing water? Try Allen Creek, and striking scenery and good skiing is what you get at Ski Rio. This lake is so wonderful.
Dry warm beds await you at Best Western River's Edge, and Seven Lakes is a perfect location to visit for more than one day, McCrystal Creek Campground is a perfect location to camp nearby. Around Seven Lakes you don’t get a lot of
rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is January. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Eagle Nest is a glorious choice, and Twin Lakes is a nearby lake that you could stop by.
