Going for a hike on the Cedar Creek Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and do explore Eagle Lakes, it's a pretty lake. All the outdoors exciting things in the Sacramento Mountains       will keep you coming back repeatedly. If you need a place to stay Ruidoso Downs-Days Inn is a good choice, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Dry Mills Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Seeping Springs Lakes, you could also pop by delightful Sweethart Windmill; hey, Gotta ski right? Ski Apache is a great location to do that. A journey to Allison Canyon is always fun; there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Perk                  Ridge Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sacramento Mountains. Summertime at Seeping Springs Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 90's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Seeping Springs Lakes. It is very dried out here at Seeping Springs Lakes commonly; August is the month that gets the most rain, and April meanwhile is the driest month.
