So much enjoyable stuff close to Section Twelve, absolutely tremendous. A tour to El Morro National Monument is recommended. Section Twelve is nice enough to spend more than a day at, El Morro RV Park is a nice local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn Gallup. Not far from Section Twelve, you'll hit upon Rock Dam which is a lovely lake, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Gallup here.       At Section Twelve you don’t see much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is June. Having a perfect time in the Zuni Mountains is painless. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Black Lake, and camping at Tanaja Trading Post is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. It's always good to go to Twin Springs; you can                  spot The Rincon from Section Twelve. During the summertime months here at Section Twelve, high temperatures usually get into the 80's with night lows in the 50's.
