The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Puerta de la Primera Agua is a perfect site to explore nearby, and Mesa Sacatosa is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Laguna Seca. Summer at Laguna Seca arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime       are ordinarily in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Laguna Seca are in the 10's. It is very waterless here at Laguna Seca generally; during July this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is January. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pecos River, and if you need a place to stay Plaza Hotel Las Vegas is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful.
